Mission Statement

The philosophy underlying the B.Sc. Psychology programme is to empower graduates in Psychology and allied disciplines with the view to resolving social, economic, health and political problems, not only in domestic affairs, but also in international affairs at large. Its uniqueness to the global world in understanding key aspects of human behaviour and personality has made it mandatory to achieve this philosophy. This is aimed at capacity building that would address the yawning need for sufficient Psychological expertise in various fields like sports, industrial sector, education sector and other productive aspects of the economy and society.
